- Installation notes
- This program uses the media card to store the files in a directory called "blips". Currently the installation isn't making the directory for you so you'll need to create it by yourself. To do: Applications-> Media -> Explore - > Media Card - > Select New Folder: name the folder "blips"
- It also needs a directory called “blips\processed”. Applications -> Media -> Explore -> Media Card -> blips -> Select New Folder: name the folder "processed"
- Running the program
- Running the program is the same as before. The automatic upload feature works as follows. All logs get stored in the “blips” directory. The blackberry menu button has aupload logs menu item. If you hit this button, it will pause the collection, stop the current log, and upload all the files in the “blips” directory to oneblip@gmail.com. All of these files are then moved into the “blips\processed” folder for future use. Then a new log is started and collection resumes.
- Also under the menu button is the “Collection Method” menu item. This allows you to select between distance based collection (version 1.0) and time based collection (every 6 seconds).
